The\u00a018th<\/sup> edition<\/strong> of the ACOUSTIC GUITAR MEETING<\/strong> will take place at the Firmafede Fortress in SARZANA (La Spezia), Italy<\/strong>, on 2015,<\/strong> May 27-28-29-30-31.<\/strong>\u00a0 <\/strong>It will present the performances of the greatest international acoustic guitarists and the “Acoustic Guitar Lutherie, Import, Vintage, Accessories Show<\/strong>“.

The AGM will open on Wednesday May 27th<\/strong> with the acoustic guitar courses-workshops for guitar making and playing techniques<\/strong>. The courses will be held on May 27th-28th-29th<\/strong> with lessons of 6 hours a day. Teachers of lutherie workshops will be Linda Manzer (Canada)<\/strong> and Dick Boak (US)<\/strong>; acoustic guitar techniques will be taught by Alex De Grassi (US)<\/strong>, Tim Sparks (US)<\/strong>, Pietro Nobile (IT)<\/strong> and coordinated by Giuseppe Tropeano<\/strong>, teacher of ScuolacusticA in Sarzana.<\/p>\n

On Thursday May 28th<\/strong>, the evening concert will present \u201cNew Sounds of Acoustic Music\u201d<\/strong> Ibanez-Mogar Award 2015,<\/strong> a very famous young guitarists contest. <\/strong>At the end of the contest it will start a concert with international guitar players .

On Friday May 29th<\/sup><\/strong>, Saturday May 30th<\/sup>, Sunday May 31st<\/sup><\/strong> the best acoustic guitar players from all over the world will perform on the main stage, in solo or in musical ensemble;

Stands for the “Acoustic Guitar Lutherie, Import, Vintage, Accessories Show<\/strong>” (May 29th-30th-31st) will be at the disposal of master luthiers, guitar companies, importers of guitars and accessories, lovers of collection guitars, and further space will be devoted to guitar publishing, dedicated magazines, CDs, vinyl\u2019s and so on. During the day, on the various stages around the fortress, concerts, live demonstrations, presentation of new products, guitar events, etc, will be held. \u00a0(123 stands were present in 2014 with exhibitors and luthiers from all over Europe, US and Australia)<\/p>\n

\u201cUkulele Village\u201d –<\/strong> a special area for Ukulele makers will be present, with seminars and a stage for concerts\/demo.<\/p>\n
