EXHIBITION OF LUTHERIE, IMPORT, PUBLISHING AND ACCESSORIES FOR ACOUSTIC GUITAR, CLASSICAL AND MODERN, AND OTHER PLUCKED AND PLECTRUM INSTRUMENTS, with the presence of the best luthiers and acoustic guitar brands. Special Ukulele Village area and Charango.it desk
The Acoustic Guitar Village exhibition area is located at the entrance to Pavilion 1 of Cremona Musica (Fiera di Cremona, Hall 1)

HISTORICAL EXHIBITIONS – SPECIAL EVENTS:

Historical exhibition “Leutari, dances and costumes in Rome at the end of 1700” by the master luthiers Leonardo Petrucci and Martina Gozzini

“Music is our life” exhibition of ethnic instruments from the world, collection of Maestro Bruno Brunetti, with the presence of instruments from the collection of Maestro Flaminio Valseriati.
On display are ethnic chordophones, both plucked and bowed

– Cremona Mandolini in Mostra
Events and activities dedicated to the mandolin, little-great string instrument.
Artistic direction by Master Carlo Aonzo with the cultural advice of Master luthier Lorenzo Frignani.
Event coordinated by Alessio Ambrosi and Ass.Cult.Armadillo APS

– Ukulele area
Exhibition area dedicated to the little Hawaiian 4-string instrument, with stage performances, coordinated by Lorenzo “Ukulollo”, with the presence and performances of Paul Moore (UK), creator in Israel of the “Ukuleles for Peace” project, orchestra and musical encounters between Israeli and Palestinian children and families


– Charango Present!
Meetings, performances, seminars, presentations starring the Charango, the small 10-string Latin American instrument. Coordination byMonique Mizrahi with the presence and activities of Vicente Atal, Fabián Durán, Achille Zoni. Desk with instrument in display and presentation of the activities of the organization charango.it.
Sunday September 25th on the external Live Stage, from 11am to 1pm “Concerto Dialogato” in which the public will be able to listen to the charango live, with interactions and arrangements made specifically to show the kaleidoscopic possibilities of this small and powerful instrument.

– 5th Meeting “The Guitar in Italy between ‘800 and ‘900” the Italian instrument in the European development contest, ideated and coordinated by M°Francesco Taranto

PRESENTATION OF THE FILM ABOUT JOHN MONTELEONE at the Auditorium G. Arvedi – Museo del Violino – 7.30 pm – the event is open to all exhibitors and operators present at Cremona Musica
Friday 23 September at 7.30 pm special evening by invitation for operators of Cremona Musica at the Auditorium of the Violin Museum: celebration of the American luthier John Monteleone, with the European premiere of the film made about his life, “The Chisels are Calling”, by director Trevor Laurence with the collaboration by Woody Mann, Street Singer Productions, and with interventions in the film by Mark Knopfler, Ben Harper, David Grisman, Mike Marshall. The great luthier, of clear Italian origins and very tied to the tradition of Cremonese violin making, will be awarded the Cremona Musica Award in the evening for his artistic and unique work in the construction of archtop guitars and mandolins. A brief but significant musical intervention by two great mandolin artists, Carlo Aonzo and Mike Marshall will follow and conclude the event.
In the evening there will also be a memory of the late great guitarist Woody Mann in the presence of his wife Valerie Lettieri Mann

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 24th
