The logo that will characterise the 16th edition of the Acoustic Guitar Meeting in Sarzana has been designed. Here are the first pieces of information available, this will be regularly updated on the site.
The event will run from 22th to 26th May 2013 and will involve the Firmafede Fortress, the Impavidi Theatre and the historical centre of the City of Sarzana, involving more and more areas of the city to give everyone the possibility to enjoy in full the beauty and hospitality of Sarzana.
The exhibition of Lutherie, Import, Accessories will be held as usual in the rooms and halls of the Firmafede Fortress, improving and increasing the areas for exhibitors.
Registration is now open for luthiers and companies in the sector. For info, maps of exhibition area, stand location and registration form please visit the exhibitors information page. Emerging guitarists who want to participate in the contest “New Sounds of Acoustic Music” Award Carisch 2013 in memory of Stefano Rosso can find information on the page at the 2013 edition New Sounds Young Guitarists Contest.
Full details of the course for Lutherie and Guitar Didactics will be available soon with the names of the teachers, co-ordinated as always by Davide Mastrangelo leader of the Centro Studi Fingerstyle ofArezzo.
The courses will take place on Wed 22–Thurs 23–Fri 24, as usual full time days of work. Programme and timetable will be available soon. New for 2013, the courses will now take place at the Impavidi Theatre, the beautiful historical theatre of Sarzana, only 5 minutes walk from the Firmafede Fortress.
We are currently preparing the program of artists that will perform at the fortress and the various events that will take place during the Acoustic Guitar Meeting.
As always, in the third week of January 2013, we will visit the NAMM Show in Anaheim, Los Angeles US and will be available to meet you there.
