Acoustic Guitar Village in Cremona Musica 2019, another edition rich with unique events and international guests
Plenty of live music at the Acoustic Guitar Village, the space dedicated to the six-strings and other stringed and plucked instruments, celebrating this year the 50th Woodstock anniversary with an event which will see as its peak the performance of Jeff Pevar (guitarist of David Crosby), Jackie Perkins, Inger Nova Jorgensen and many more. Confirmed classic appointments such as the Italian Bluegrass Meeting, with special guest Paul Stowe & Trevor Morriss, and Strings and Voices d’Autore, showcase of singer-songwriters among whom this year will see Davide Van De Sfroos. One of the protagonists will also be the legendary guitarist Paco Peña, who will be given a Cremona Music Award. The program will be completed by the historical exhibitions (with more than 70 historical instruments showcased), the masterclass of lutherie (with Dana Bourgeois, Michael Greenfield and Ken Parker) and of guitar technique (with Pierre Bensusan and Micki Piperno), the special events such as the contest New Sounds of Acoustic Music and the Bob Brozman Memorial Slide Contest and much more, for a program that combines in the best way  classical guitar and modern acoustic guitar, without overlooking other stringed and plucked instruments.

Just a few standard booths and some tables in the special area “Luthiers’ Row” are still available to those who would like to partecipate and showcase their products to the public of professionals and enthusiasts of the sector, in a very looked after environment, attentive to the needs of the exhibitors.

There will also be conferences dedicated to the present and the future of quality music, like the events that will be held inside the International Media Lounge, and a training day dedicated to the italian dealers and operators of the sector with the “Forum of the Musical Instrument”.
