Organizational work intensely continues for the Acoustic Guitar Village and the entire Cremona Musica International Exhibitions and Festival 2026, scheduled for October 2, 3, and 4.
This year’s dates do not coincide with the Guitar Summit in Mannheim, Germany, much to the delight of professionals and the public, who will be able to attend both events.

20,090 operators and musicians from 74 countries, these are the official numbers of the last 2025 edition, and they all stopped by and visited the AGV in pavilion 1!

This year, there will be important initiatives dedicated to master luthiers and builders and importers of acoustic, classical, and modern guitars, as well as other plectrum and plucked instruments. Stay tuned, and in upcoming newsletters we’ll go into more detail about these initiatives for the 2026 edition.

We invite anyone interested in exhibiting in the AGV area to contact us to receive the registration form. We are happy to hear proposals for both the exhibition area and events, conferences, and presentations.

There will be numerous interviews with industry professionals and luthiers, with a constant presence on social media pages and websites, the result of collaboration with two leading national communication agencies. The relationship with the Italian Trade Commission (ICE) is being strengthened, and in 2026, invitations and hospitality for international dealers and industry professionals will be further increased.

Here are the first previews for AGV 2026, with many other activities in preparation:

– For the Acoustic Guitar Lutherie Masterclass, traditionally a high-level expression of international lutherie, the lessons will focus on the restoration and repair of acoustic stringed instruments with three extraordinary teachers: Americans Ian Davlin and Doug & Sharon Proper, owners of the business and website The Guitar Specialist.

– 13th edition of the Italian Bluegrass Meeting – new edition of Cremona Mandolini in Mostra – confirmation of Charango Presente!

– Sunday, October 4th, a day entirely dedicated to the “Cremona Acoustic Blues Meeting” with a conference, presentations, cultural insights, and a concert on the outdoor Live Stage dedicated to acoustic blues, the genre born on the banks of the Mississippi River Delta that gave rise to all contemporary music!
Numerous industry experts, journalists, musicians, and performers will be in attendance.

– In the next newsletters we will soon inform you about the artists who will be performing both on the daily stages outside the AGV pavilion and at the two evening concerts on Friday 2 October in the Auditorium of the Violin Museum and on Saturday 3 October in the Federico II courtyard, Piazza Duomo.

– The day dedicated to promising young musicians continues on Sunday 4 October on the Palco della Musica in Piazza Roma in the historic centre.
