Hi everyone,
these are times of forced stop because of the coronavirus, but it’s also time for some important reflections, as well as for planning and preparation of the next events that, sooner or later, will start again.
With due caution and realism we stay ready for alternative plans, but we have confidence and hope that that in September, from 25th to 27th, we will be able to give life to a new edition of the Acoustic Guitar Village in Cremona Musica…..

In the difficult situation we are currently experiencing, complying with such restrictive measures, our thought and closeness go to musicians, organizers, and all those who work in the music sector in Italy and all over the world. Nevertheless, we keep working at our best to plan and organize the Acoustic Guitar Village, Cremona Musica 2020, hoping that on September 25–26–27 2020, almost six months from today, we will be ready and active for a new and rich edition of the event!….

work in progress for the organization of the Acoustic Guitar Village, inside Cremona Musica International Exhibitions and Festival, 25th-27th September 2020.
All the events that will take place during the three days are therefore being evaluated and defined: from the lutherie and guitar execution techniques masterclasses, to the historical exhibitions, to special events, to international guests, to performances on the open stages (this year another live stage!), involving acoustic guitars, classical and modern, and other plectrum and plucked instruments………….

Acoustic Guitar Village in Cremona Musica 2019, another edition rich with unique events and international guests
Plenty of live music at the Acoustic Guitar Village, the space dedicated to the six-strings and other stringed and plucked instruments, celebrating this year the 50th Woodstock anniversary with an event which will see as its peak the performance of Jeff Pevar (guitarist of David Crosby), Jackie Perkins, Inger Nova Jorgensen and many more. Confirmed classic appointments such as the Italian Bluegrass Meeting, with special guest Paul Stowe & Trevor …

Fervono i preparativi per l’organizzazione dell’edizione 2019 dell’Acoustic Guitar Village a Cremona Musica International Exhibitions and Festival. Tante le conferme per il format vincente fin dai tempi della manifestazione a Sarzana e numerose le novità per il 2019.

Anche nel 2019 continua la tradizione delle masterclass/seminari formativi, sia di liuteria chitarristica sia di didattica sullo strumento, che negli anni hanno portato in Italia i migliori liutai costruttori internazionali e artisti di grande spessore. L’elenco è lunghissimo, basta scorrere le edizioni passate dell’AGM di Sarzana e dell’AGV …

Dear friends,
the Acoustic Guitar Village inside Cremona Musica International Exhibitions has just ended and we are very happy with the results obtained!  More than 17.000 people have attended the Cremona Musica and all of them have visited the AGV, which enriched the all event with about 200 musicians in the various performances on the stages and with 900 sqm of guitar exhibition area. The best luthiers, brands and companies were present, Italians and from all over the world……

From September 29th to October 1st, booths with the world’s best companies and luthiers, and concerts, showcases, masterclasses with superstars of guitarmaking, exhibits and seminars dedicated to the acoustic guitar. On the opening day, Friday September 29th, starting at 9:00 pm at the historical Teatro Ponchielli of Cremona, will take place the Gran Gala Concert with performances by the newyorker songwriter Diane Ponzio, the guitarist Finaz, founder of Bandabardò, and the extraordinary American duo Tuck & Patti….

The world’s best companies and luthiers, concerts, showcases, masterclasses with superstars of guitarmaking, exhibits and seminars dedicated to the acoustic guitar, classical and modern.
It is an incredibly rich program that Cremona Musica International Exhibitions dedicates to the world of acoustic guitar, classical and modern, from September 29th to October 1st inside the Acoustic Guitar Village…..

a few lines to get in touch with you for the next 2017 edition of the Acoustic Guitar Village in Cremona. The last 2016 edition has been very successful, confirming the positive path for the Italian acoustic guitar scene that we started in Sarzana 20 years ago.

Please take note that the 2017 edition of the AGV will take place on September 29th,30th – October 1st inside Cremona Musica International Exhibitions in the Cremona Fair pavillions.
