The program of the next edition of the AGV inside Cremona Musica International Exhibitions and Festival, 27-28-29 September, continues to expand and the events and registrations of national and international luthiers and guitar companies are intensifying. Everything points to a great 2024 edition of the event, now an unmissable European annual event for manufacturers of acoustic guitars, classic and modern, and other plectrum and plucked instruments, for the satisfaction and pleasure of many enthusiasts who come to try the various instruments on display and participate in live events.

Still some places available to register for the Lutherie Masterclass which will be held by two excellent teachers: the American luthiers Jason Kostal and Michael Bashkin. Great anticipation for the international guests of the event already announced, who will soon be joined by even more artists for an unmissable live program!
The fantastic American bluegrass-country music trio The Kruger Brothers will perform during the days on the stages inside the exhibition complex and in the evening at events in the historic center of Cremona, at the Auditorium of the Violin Museum and in the Federico II courtyard. Among them stands out the 5-string banjo virtuoso Jens Kruger, today together with Béla Fleck the greatest banjist in the world, capable of ranging from bluegrass to Balkan music, jazz and classical! The Trio will be joined by the virtuoso mandolin player Carlo Aonzo, artistic director of the event Cremona Mandolini in Mostra.

A long-awaited return to Italy for the acrobatic American acoustic guitarist Preston Reed, the inventor many years ago of the tapping technique on the acoustic guitar, which has now become common among many guitar artists. He also performed on the day at the Acoustic Guitar Village and concert in the historic center of Cremona.
For classical guitar, among the many musicians present we will host the Spanish master Pedro Jesus Gomez, professor of guitar at the Madrid Conservatory!

Many other musicians, musical groups, guitar and mandolin orchestras will enliven the various daily live stages located inside and outside the Acoustic Guitar Village area, Cremona Musica, Cremona Fair: the Open Stage, the Live Stage, the Classic Stage, the Demo Stage. And then outside the fair perimeter we will meet for the great evening events on Friday and Saturday at the Auditorium of the Violin Museum, in the Federico II Courtyard and for the youth ensembles in the Goito square on Sunday afternoon.

International guitar companies and master luthiers continue to register in the exhibition area, the area is increasingly expanding with confirmations and arrivals of new exhibitors. With great satisfaction this year we host the master luthiers associated with ALI, the Italian Lutherie Association. At their disposal there will be the Cristofori Room, adjacent to the AGV and a totally silent area.
