Dear friends,
The entire acoustic music community is gathering at the AGV area of Cremona Musica Expo & Festival, taking place from October 2nd to 4th at the Cremona Exhibition Center!
The packed schedule of events will cover country, bluegrass, blues, Gypsy jazz, singer-songwriter music, fingerstyle, and more—always with the acoustic guitar taking center stage, featuring great performers and enthusiasts from the world of acoustic strings.
The program features classical guitar and chitarra battente performances, the “Accordi Apuani” Orchestra—comprising 72 guitarists and 18 violinists—and mandolin orchestras, including the oldest American ensemble of its kind, the Milwaukee Mandolin Orchestra, alongside a host of other activities.
With a lineup of daytime and evening performances, lutherie masterclasses led by three distinguished American experts specializing in the repair and restoration of string instruments, historical exhibitions, lectures, and cultural sessions, one of the richest editions of the AGV in Cremona is taking shape.
Lutherie creations, prestigious brands, the latest in instruments and accessories, and a host of international players.
Don’t miss the chance to showcase your instruments at the acoustic event of the year!

We are delighted to welcome the master craftsman and founder of one of the world’s leading acoustic guitar brands: Mr. Bob Taylor will be a guest at the Acoustic Guitar Village. During the evening concert on Friday, October 2nd, at the Violin Museum Auditorium, he will receive the 2026 Cremona Musica Award for Lifetime Achievement.
On Saturday morning at 10:30 AM, he will give a talk in the AGV Event Area on the origins and history of Taylor guitars, after which he will be available to sign autographs for fans.
Martin Guitars will also host Mr. Carmen Cortez, International Sales Director—one of the most important and experienced figures at the renowned Nazareth-based company—who will showcase key models from the Martin Custom Shop and engage with enthusiasts of America’s oldest acoustic guitar brand.
At the large stand of the importing company Gold-music, the finest brands from their catalog—ranging from Godin to Lowden, Larrivée, Takamine, Seagull, Sigma, and others—will be showcased. The setup also features a central stage hosting a rotating schedule of instrument demonstrations.
We are pleased to note the arrival and presence of the Gallagher Guitar Company—makers of extraordinary guitars from Tennessee that are particularly cherished by bluegrass music enthusiasts.
And so on—other companies and the master luthiers of modern and classical acoustic guitars will showcase the very best of their creations.
Luthiers’ Row area is quite fully booked; a few pre-fitted stands and Balcony stands are still available.
